TOEFL At-Home Testing: A Step-by-Step Guide

Cristóbal Salas : ETS problem has me waiting to take the test! Which I was supposed to take last week! Terrible experience. Just before the actual test started an error appeared on the screen; the proctor told me I had to contact ETS so they would reschedule my test. ETS representatives said they had to review the case and would give me a response in 5 working days! Even worse, I just hung up the phone with an ETS representative who told me they take 2 to 6 weeks to review the case! And she advised me to schedule another test (paying again of course!) at a test center because the same error could happen again, and the process would run all over again! Absolutely crazy.
Arsenio's ESL Podcast : I want people to be aware of how broken TOEFL is. I'm not sure who grades the essays or speaking, but I really think this American based test is sending jobs to India and they're grading everyone. There's no other way to explain how a B2+ can get a 15 in her writing. Meanwhile, that same writing would be a 26 in L.A. or Bogota. TOEFL is broken. Try doing IELTS instead! This coming from the BEST TOEFL instructor out there.
Michael is a clown and he knows he ships all jobs to India. Who grades the speaking and essays? Are they Americans? And even if they're another nationality, they don't have a legitimate rubric to follow.
Alexa Cervantes : Hello, is it possible to connect speakers to the computer to take the test? And during the break, can we leave the camera's peripheria to get some fresh air, go to the restroom, etc.? I would really appreciate a quick response since I'm taking the test this weekend

You also can not use you phone during the break time. About the prohibition of using phone during the break nothing said even in the TOEFL official web site, but if you use, your scores will not be available.
